Card Tokens
A Card Token is a digital token issued by the CleverCards Platform that represents a predefined monetary value. This value can be redeemed to create and fund a Card Account, enabling a seamless and controlled flow of digital funds.
Card Tokens are digital value instruments designed to be flexible and instantly distributable. They are particularly well-suited for use cases such as:
- Peer-to-peer (P2P) payments
- Instant employee rewards
- Customer or partner payouts
- Promotional disbursements
CleverCards issues and manages its own Card Tokens, ensuring full control over issuance, validation, and redemption.
The holder of a valid Card Token can use it exclusively within the CleverCards Platform to fund a digital Mastercard or equivalent prepaid card. In essence, a Card Token acts as a digital IOU—a commitment by CleverCards to honour its assigned value once redeemed.
Important: Card Tokens are only valid and redeemable within the CleverCards Platform. They cannot be transferred or used outside the system.
